I am a lifestyle portrait photographer specializing in engagement, maternity, newborn, family, senior, headshot and branding photography here in Richmond, Virginia. More than ever before, these stressful and uncertain times remind me how grateful I am for family and the friendships that make life so colorful. I am so excited to again start offering outdoor sessions, so that we can create meaningful images in a safe and responsible way.

Cancellation Policy: If you or any member of your family feel ill before your session, please stay home. We can reschedule or refund your deposit (whichever you prefer). I am an easy going mother of three sweet and wild boys, wife to a vegetable farmer, a homeschooling mom, and a portrait photographer.
I'm always exploring new interests like taking classes on-line, doing a 30 day yoga challenge, trying recipes from the Great British Baking Show, mountain biking very slowly, reading adventure books with my kids, creating watercolor cards, sipping sugary coffee, and listening to This American Life.

We worked with Amanda for a newborn lifestyle shoot at our home.
It was a traumatic time (just days after coming home from an emergency c section) and as is typical with a newborn, we were late and things were not ready.
Amanda was gracious and kind and immediately made us feel comfortable.
She was open to all of our ideas and worked with us to make us comfortable and made beautiful, one of a kind art in our space.
She edited and shared way more photos than planned, and got them to us earlier than expected.
