Jillian's journey as a photographer began in the playground in elementary school in New York. She quickly learned that not everyone loves being photographed but that doesn't mean you can't still make a great portrait. Jillian graduated from NYU and went on to the International Center of Photography for a photography degree.
She moved to Los Angeles and spent a few years assisting photographers Art Streiber, Nigel Parry, Sheryl Nields and Mark Mann (to name a few) and honed her craft further, building a portfolio to bring back to New York.Her career in editorial and commercial photography began after one memorable phone call from a photo editor at LUCKY Magazine. With more than 15 years of photographing people professionally, Jillian now runs her own photo studio in Larchmont, NY, where she lives with her husband and two boys.
