Regardless of age (infant - baby - child), Gail 'connects' with her young subjects in a way that is unique to her. Whether in the Dallas studio, or on location for either portrait sessions or one of Gails Day-In-The-Life photo shoots, Gail captures the essence of her subject.
Born in Troy, New York, Gail Nogle was eight years old when she was given her first camera. As a teenager she did baby-sitting for neighbors, Carol and George Skarshinki, who had a darkroom in their basement, taught Gail to use a 4*5 view camera and encouraged her blossoming interest in photography. A graduate of the prestigious Rochester Institute of Technology, Gail spent more than 14 years with Gittings Portrait Studio in Dallas, Texas where she learned to capture the extraordinary in ordinary people.
She also had her share of nervous brides, stiff executives, undisciplined youngsters, and quarrelsome family groups.
