Dawn Roe specializes in newborn, baby, and family photography. Offering sessions in her Metairie studio and on location around the Greater New Orleans area. Those first few days, learning to lift their head, that wobbly sit, those first little steps. When you meet Dawn, you simply love her! Dawn is one of New Orleans best family photographers and is one of the sweetest, kindest, most lovable people you will have the pleasure to meet.

I have been taking portraits for over ten years.
I received my Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of New Orleans, as well as my bachelor's degree.
After grad school, I have continued to learn and grow through workshops and online courses.
I have trained under some of the greatest photographer's around the world to provide beautiful custom images of your babies.
Keeping your baby safe and comfortable is my top priority.
I have taken several baby safety classes, as well as completed my newborn safety certification through APNPI.

Newborn photos are best done in the first 3 weeks of baby's life but can be held through the first 8 weeks.
These sessions are held either in my Metairie studio or in your home.
This includes up to three hours of shooting with use of any props, baskets, blankets, headbands, hats, and wraps needed for the session.
This session will include up to 5 setups/scenes.
Parents and siblings may be included as well.
This session includes 20 Digital Images of your choice.
This session includes a 90 minute lifestyle session utilizing what is in your home, natural poses, parent poses, and nursery shots.
These sessions are held either in my Metairie studio or in your home.
This includes up to three hours of shooting with use of any props, baskets, blankets, headbands, hats, and wraps needed for the session.
This session will include up to 5 setups/scenes.
Parents and siblings may be included as well.
This session includes 20 Digital Images of your choice.
This session includes a 90 minute lifestyle session utilizing what is in your home, natural poses, parent poses, and nursery shots.
These sessions are perfect for capturing our little ones as they reach each milestone: their first giggles, learning to sit, pulling up, or their first cake smash.
This session is held either in studio or on location.
It includes a 30 Minute session, up to 3 Outfit changes, and your choice of 20 Digital Images.

Each studio milestone (4 month, 8 month, and one year) includes a thirty minute studio session and 20 digital images of your choice from a custom and fully edited gallery.
This time allows two outfits.
All sessions are held Monday through Thursday in the mornings only.
Milestone sessions are priced for one individual baby.
Family sessions are held separately and are not included in this package.
All session dates must be selected 8 weeks in advance or a session date will be assigned.
