I am so glad you're here : I am a natural light photographer in Bend, Oregon with a passion for photographing families and newborn babies. I was born in Switzerland, where I spent almost 10 years before moving to Spain to sail the Mediterranean Sea on a 42 ft. I am a wife to an incredibly amazing and supportive husband and mama to {three} crazy fun boys.
In my spare time (ahem, what.?.) you can find me reading a good book (currently obsessed with the Outlander series- if you haven't read it yet, RUN to the bookstore. I'm serious, it's so good!, spending time with my family, running and spending my time outdoors. I have always been fascinated by photography and its ability to tell a story with no words.
Like so many other photographers, my love for the art grew even more when my first son was born in 2009. Wanting to remember every moment and milestone, I fell in love with capturing memories. My hope is that you walk away from our session together with beautiful photos and honest memories to cherish for years.

Services
The best time to schedule your pregnancy session is around 28-34 weeks, when the tummy is nice and round and you are still comfortable.
Spouses and children are welcomed and encouraged to attend.
Sessions are in your home or outdoors in beautiful Central Oregon.
Outdoor sessions begin approximately one hour before sunset.
I am a firm believer in all things natural and I love to capture the love and connection with your new baby.
I love to photograph your family in your master bedroom, the baby's nursery, the living room-any room with the most natural light available.
Spouses and children are welcomed and encouraged to attend.
Sessions are in your home or outdoors in beautiful Central Oregon.
Outdoor sessions begin approximately one hour before sunset.

As a photographer, it is such an honor and privilege to be invited into your home to document the intimate newness and tenderness of your family.
When I arrive I will ask you to show me around your home.
This is when I will be taking a look to see where the light is falling and which areas have the best natural light.
I also take a peek at areas of the home which lend themselves to the telling of your story.
I like to use bits and pieces of your family in the session.
I love using a special blanket, your bed, a vintage chair, or rocker, etc.
When I arrive I will ask you to show me around your home.
This is when I will be taking a look to see where the light is falling and which areas have the best natural light.
I also take a peek at areas of the home which lend themselves to the telling of your story.
I like to use bits and pieces of your family in the session.
I love using a special blanket, your bed, a vintage chair, or rocker, etc.
I love photographing family connections and emotions.
It is my hope that together we will create not only beautiful photos, but also awesome memories.
Capturing families playing, snuggling, being goofy, and just loving on each other is my favorite!
I will always do my best to get that one desired shot of everyone looking and smiling at me, but will for the most part, be giving piggyback rides to your kids, encouraging dads to show off their kid-flipping skills, having little ones give moms their BEST hugs EVER, and fun stuff like that.
It is my hope that together we will create not only beautiful photos, but also awesome memories.

If you are uncomfortable with having a stranger in the room, I can tell you that I am quiet, discreet and there to do a job, I look through my camera with a photographers eye.
They will not have to capture the first moments, they don't have to worry about messing with a camera during this special time, they can actually be present in the moment with you.
This day will be a day that you will look back on for years to come, like a wedding, and I assure you that having me there will be something you'll treasure forever.
If you are uncomfortable with having a stranger in the room, I can tell you that I am quiet, discreet and there to do a job, I look through my camera with a photographers eye.
