Laurel McConnell Photography
As I wrap up this year's wedding edits and albums, it's time to give voice to a secret I've been keeping for the last 12 months. In 2019 my family and I made the decision that 2020 would be my last year photographing weddings. We wanted to make room for family, hobbies, new endeavors, and living a slower life in general. You know, to take time to stop and smell the roses.

I planted some of those this year. We are a boutique photography company. We answer the phone at all odd hours, email entirely too much, and we-heart-text-messages. Since 2001 we've been striving to keep relationships personal, ideas fresh, and products timeless. We've got a passion for creating rockin' portraits while capturing moments as they happen.

Laurel McConnell's distinctive, gorgeous photographs and delightful personality have made her one of the most popular wedding photographers around. Her joy for life and love for photography shines through in all of her work, from her emotionally connected portraits to her innovative photojournalistic images.
Services
I am very proud of my "tacky fridge magnet collection, " which includes magnets from all over this planet.
2. I order my martinis "super extra dirty, like {name of a certain blonde lady grunge rocker from the 90's}."
3. My favorite part about lunch is the pickle that comes with the sandwich, and I'm addicted to Tim's Cascade Jalapeno Chips and can't stop until the entire bag is empty.
It burns so good.
I find it amusing that the internet thinks that videos of goats yelling are so rad.
I raised goats in 4-H as a kid (not punny), and goats yelling was NOT rad; it's obnoxiously loud.
We are inspired by our clients: their excitement, their style, but mostly their adoration of each other.
The little glances, soft whispers, and inside jokes; these are the memories behind the images.
We've got a passion for creating rockin' portraits, always adventurous and never a snooze, while exploring our surroundings to make incredible and fresh images.
Kinda like a photo-scavenger-hunt if there ever was such a thing.
Once the ceremony hits, we like to blend into the crowd, taking a more candid and photo-journalistic approach, so that we can canvas the crowd and document not only you, but the folks who you've chosen to experience the day with, too.
True story, friend.
The thing is, there are only a handful that will be a good fit for you, depending on personality, photographic style, budget, and experience.
Here's the short of it: We are nice to your friends and family.
We are fun to be around.
We are honest.
We are great at what we do.
We have been doing this for a LONG time, FULL-time (since 2001, yo!).
We are not the cheapest around, but there is a reason they say, "You get what you pay for."
If we're not the right fit for you, feel free to drop us a line and ask for advice; we've got lots!
We are excited to tell you about our volunteer-run, non-profit organization, Get Hitched, Give Hope, where brides & grooms got gorgeous goods & services for their wedding by giving back!
As a co-founder, Laurel has held a board position and was the VP of Marketing for most of the organization's run.
Founded in 2007, Get Hitched, Give Hope is the result of many glasses of wine among friends, long late-night hours, and a strong feeling to give back to our community while unifying our already fantastic local wedding industry.
A collection of our favorite and most inspiring wedding venues in the Pacific Northwest.
We're excited to share albums with you from farm weddings to warehouse weddings, winery weddings to ballrooms.
Our favorite wedding venues from Seattle to Eastern Washington, they are sure to delight your guests and be a wonderful setting for your nuptials!
