My greatest inspiration and source of joy in my life is my beautiful family. I am a wife, a mom, a young grandma, and a Vancouver, WA family photographer. I specialize in family, newborn, sitter session (older babies) and cake smash (1st birthday) photography. However, I enjoy photographing engagement (couples), senior, and maternity portrait photography as well.
Photography became my hobby when I bought my first DSLR camera to take photos of my son's karate tournaments. I have many years of experience in taking karate photos. I have also had a lot of opportunities to travel, so I enjoy landscape photography as well. I was born and raised in Japan and I visit my family in Japan quite often. I like to post some landscape photos on Instagram, and you will find I frequently incorporate landscapes in my outdoor portrait photography.
How can I not, when we live in the beautiful PNW? Eventually, my hobby turned into a passion! Photography has become as much of a part of my life as the air I breathe these days and I LOVE what I do.
