I'm also a Colorado elopement photographer who travels all over the front range (and sometimes the country) photographing adventurous couples in their element. I absolutely love working with like minded people who see the world the same way that I do. One of my favorite clients described me as the most unenchanted wedding photographer ever, because while I love small, intimate weddings, elopements and the idea of marriage, I think most weddings suck.

Because I believe that *most* weddings are designed around the guest, parental expectations and what people "think they should do". I think that's total crap. I believe a wedding is about the couple and should be celebrated the way the couple truly wants it to be. In most cases, that's eloping, or a small, intimate wedding with their closest friends and family members.

It means scrapping the dance floor if you don't like dancing, or hiring a live band if you do. It means hiking to the top of a mountain and saying I do, because you feel most at home when you're on top of the world.
