Nantucket photographer and writer, Terry Pommett, has been documenting the people and places of the Cape and Islands for the past 25 years. He specializes in natural light, informal portraiture and a mixture of classic and documentary style wedding photography. The method is always the same. I take a casual approach connecting with the subject, if even for a moment and to capture the essence of the subject when he, she, or they are relaxed, unguarded and themselves.
