Photographing children is one our my greatest joys in life.
As they grow beyond toddlers big changes happen.
I find the conversations I have with this age group to be so entertaining.
Years after a portrait has been taken I still remember the little guy who told me his dog had a polka dotted tongue( and he really did) or the little girl who told me her family secret.

The day you marry is one of the most important days of your life.
Here at Kim Crenshaw Photography we feel it is a honor to be chosen to record this day.
After all the cake is eaten and the bouquet is thrown and the day is over, the photography is the only tangible memory you will have.
We shoot just a small number of weddings every year because we want to put 1000% percent of our time, energy, talent and love into every special day we commit to capturing.
There is always at least 2 photographers at every wedding and we shoot film as well as digital.

I am very proud of the degrees I hold from Memphis College Of Art where I graduated with honors.

It is in my opinion, so easy to learn how to mimic and copy what is popular and trendy from what others are doing.
By learning photography as a fine art it gave me a much deeper foundation and understanding of what it takes to create a real work of art.
For me a portrait should most importantly tell you about the person but at the same time it must stand the test of time.
