Carolyn Whitmore Studio & Gallery is a second-generation portrait photography studio, under the artistic direction of Susan Whitmore, located in scenic Historic Roswell. Susan's passion for photography was sparked at the young age of 14, when she began working and learning with her mother, Carolyn, who founded the studio in 1985.
Located in Roswell's Victorian-style 'President's House, ' many of the portraits produced by Carolyn Whitmore Studio & Gallery feature the house's wide, Southern front porch and breath-taking gardens, situated just a stone's throw away from metro Atlanta.Though Carolyn now spends much of her time enjoying her grandchildren and her faithful dog, Astro, her spirit and legendary shooting style are carried on through the studio and through her daughter, Susan.
With a B.A. in Art and Art History, Susan Whitmore instinctively draws inspiration from some of the great, classic painters and artists, from Sargent to Rembrandt, from Gainsborough to Pino. After graduating from The University of Georgia, Susan worked for a time in the design industry, where she sharpened her eye for color and style.

The clothing, setting and where the portrait will be displayed in your home will also be considered.
Each portrait is carefully thought out with careful insight, taking the personality of the subjects into consideration.
