With over 30 years of experience, Scott is a Nashville-based photographer, capturing genuine moments - snapshots in time - that are recorded and kept still forever for others to see and enjoy. My husband and I gifted our adult children and their spouses Scott Ellis Baby Panels (3M, 6M, 9M, 12M) for each grandchild they have blessed us with.

Our backyard, which was once a part of the Glendale Park & Zoo in Nashville at the turn of the century, is home to 150 year old elm and oak trees.
This provides us with great shade for photographing children during the heat of the summer.
The park lives on in our backyard.
We have ponds with waterfalls, a dock, swings, concrete and iron benches, stone walls and iron gated archways, and many hydrangea bushes and flower beds just to name a few.

While in college, I discovered my love for photography.
After graduating from Lipscomb University with a degree in art and a minor in marketing, I worked for ten years as a graphic designer and art director for an advertising agency on Music Row.
After my first daughter was born in 1991, the passion for creating photographs became even stronger.
Now, I had a subject close to my heart to photograph and worked photographing many of our close friends children and families as well.
Over the next several years, the Lord blessed our lives and business, and it was time to step out on faith and start a full-time business in photography.
