Contemporary Expressions Photography is a portrait photography studio specializing in maternity and newborn photography. Our studio is located in Downtown Denver but we have clients from all across the greater Denver metro area - from Littleton and Highlands Ranch, to Arvada and Golden. From Boulder and Centennial to Lakewood and Parker. Our newborn photo sessions can take place in our LoDo studio or in your home.
Tanja teaches newborn photography and safety classes and workshops on both the national and international levels and has been photographing newborns for over 11 years. We schedule the maternity session approximately 6 weeks prior to your due date and the newborn session one week after your due date - we want to see that little one within the first 8 days to ensure that we get those "squishy" baby images our clients have come to love.

Express Sessions are abbreviated 20-minute sessions that will capture your kiddo in a casual, artistic, and delightful way without the meltdown-inducing clothing changes, lengthy session, or investment level of a full session.
