If I had to guess, we probably have a lot in common when it comes to the importance of photographs. I believe that photos of life's incredible and ordinary moments are the most important objects we can possess and I think photography can tell a story in a way that words can never quite accomplish. I live in the seaside village of Stonington, Connecticut, with my husband, two boys and my Portuguese Water Dog, Nellie.

Running, cooking, reading, paddle boarding, playing games (want to play Scrabble?) and spending time with my family are among my favorite things. Along with chocolate. And coffee. Did I mention chocolate? I know that in 100 years someone might still cherish a photograph I took, and I take that responsibility to heart. I have been a writer, a scientist, an admissions officer, an editor and an ice cream scooper, all of which have contributed to my perspective as a photographer.

I have been an extra in a Steven Spielberg movie and featured in Real Simple magazine twice. Once was for playing Scrabble (I know!).
Services
Anna could not have captured the day more perfectly.
Not only were she and her team a dream to work with, she was organized, extremely knowledgeable, efficient and made the sometimes "intrusive" process of wedding photography seamless, comfortable and welcoming.
Her style of photography perfectly documented all of the love, laughter and joy to be had on our special day, memories thanks to her, we will be able to cherish for a lifetime!
We highly recommend her work for weddings and family photos alike!
Engagement sessions are a terrific way for us to get to know each other, for you two to get a little practice having a camera focused on you and most importantly, for you to have some wonderful, personal and heartfelt images of this exceptionally joyful time in your lives together.
On your wedding day, the most important part of the day is the fact that you are getting married.
Because of that, even though you might be planning carefully with us, wedding day photos are rarely taken at the perfect time, in the perfect light with the perfect amount of time allowed.
My goal is to tell the true story of your family, beautifully.
I love to deliver bright, lively, natural portraits of real life.
Preschoolers are allowed (and encouraged!) to be silly.
I'll never try to force a grin out of your elementary schooler (or your husband)-we'll work together to create an environment where smiles and interactions happen naturally.
My approach is to join your family and see what happens, rather than plan for something that wasn't you to begin with!
Any size from 4x6 to 8x12 may be ordered as a matted print.
Your print comes in a double-thick ivory mat, and is presented in a clear cellophane presentation sleeve, ready for gift giving.
Your favorite image is printed at 11x14 on Hahnemhle 100% cotton fine-art paper and is presented in a double-thick ivory mat and cellophane sleeve.
Signature art prints are archive rated for 100 years.
Our most popular way to display a favorite, iconic image, canvas gallery wraps come ready to hang, with no framing required!
We're sure you have loads of questions about how it all works!
These Q+A's should answer most of them, but if you have an additional question, please call or email us.
Most sessions take place at your home or another location that is meaningful to you.
Clients often say, "but my home doesn't look like the ones in your photos!" Please know that just outside the frame in many of my images were toys that didn't get put away, a yard waiting to be landscaped or a pile (or four) of laundry that understandably didn't quite find its way into a drawer the first weeks (or years?) after baby arrived!
