I'm Olga, a professional photographer based in Northfield IL, serving the Chicago North Shore and surrounding areas.
I am a mom to two kids (boy and girl), 2 dogs, and 3 chickens and I am absolutely in love with the art of photographing children and their families.
My passion for photography sparked when I was just a kid myself, watching my dad take pictures and develop the film in our bathtub.
Fast forward a few years, when I was about 11 years old, I bought my first digital camera and began documenting all the beautiful things around me (macro mode was so fascinating), learning to see and manipulate light along the way.

Maternity sessions are usually done between 28-36 weeks of gestation.
Since each woman carries differently, I will help you decide when would be the ideal time for your session.
We will also discuss more specifically during our consultation what you and your family can wear in order to coordinate and make you look like a goddess.
I will help you capture this special time in your life by creating timeless images of you in an outdoor or studio setting.

I prefer to photograph families outdoors or in their homes, to capture the most natural interactions.
However, when the weather is cold, I can accommodate a family in the studio for a few shots along side a child's session.
Studio newborn sessions should be scheduled as early as possible.
Preferably while you are in your second trimester.
I will pencil your due date in and once the baby is born, we will re-confirm the date of the session.
Newborn babies photograph best when they are about 5-12 days old.
However, when the weather is cold, I can accommodate a family in the studio for a few shots along side a child's session.

The key is to have everyone complement each other, without wearing identical outfits.
Choose a fun, colorful dress/skirt or shirt for your child.
