I started my photography business in Des Moines out of a small, two-bedroom apartment in 1977.
Over the past 40 years I have had the opportunity to photograph two former Presidents, the 1980 Olympics and countless families, weddings and senior pictures.
Making connections with people I might not otherwise have met and hearing their stories has been one of the most rewarding parts of the job.
I get to work out in the community and give presentations at local schools for career day, donate my services to nonprofits and give back all I have learned over the years to my community here in Des Moines.
