Over 23yrs of friendship, 6yrs of marriage and more than 7yrs being professional photographers. We are the 2 behind the lens of Photography Essence. Meeting in Middle School and actually getting married there years ago, we knew we wanted a business to grow and call our own eventually. Ryan started young in his teens actually always carrying around a video camera even had a name "SHOOK ENTERTAINMENT".
But me I fell in love with the camera once I started taking photos of our oldest daughter for her 5th birthday. We worked our first a wedding together and we both decided then, that this was what we wanted to do. We are advocates for professional photography and having memories captured at least once a year. We educate ourselves to be better each year so our clients receive 150% from us each time.
