I'm Brooke - a dog obsessed Newburyporter specializing in lifestyle family portraits since 2010. Everyone always asks- did you study photography in college? Nope, not until after, but I did focus on storymaking of sorts. My major was print communications and media studies (minor in psychology). I thought Id end up more in the reporter/writer field, but my heart fell hard & fast for the visual art of photography.
Either way, I'm telling a story- YOUR story. My clients choose me not just for my photography, but also because I'm fun and organized (I'm a Senior project manager in the corporate world as well). My years of experience will help us to pick the perfect location at the ideal time of day with all expectations set ahead of time (from where to park, what to wear, etc.).

Services
These sessions can run up to 2 hours in order to give ample time for in-between feeding, breaks, outfit changes etc.
Sessions can take place at my home studio or your home-- but you and baby may be most comfy at your own home.
I suggest a shoot 1-10 days after the baby is born so he/she will sleep for a good amount of time without us disturbing him/her.
Fresh 48 sessions are when I visit you after you give birth in the hospital (or at home if you had a home birth) and take photos of your baby (ies) in your room.

This fee includes travel to your location (within 15 miles), 1 hour of shooting time, travel home and editing of all of the best photos (about 3 hours time per coverage hour).
Permit and/or parking fees will be added to your invoice total.
In some cases, the location requires that I provide proof of liability insurance which is totally normal if asked.

When the proposer contacts me to photograph this special occasion, I always feel so very special to be asked!
I will help you with the logistics and planning a bit if needed and answer any questions that you may have- we will work on the entire plan for the big day (or night).
