In April of 2009, my sister and parents came to visit and I hired a photographer friend to photograph our family. One month later my mother was diagnosed with primary peritoneal cancer, chased by a long hard battle she didn't win. Those pictures are priceless to me and my family. We have so many images of us laughing, playing and smiling with mom-moments we will have for all time.
Everyone should have gorgeous images of themselves, their loved ones, their friends and the relationships they share. Because you should exist beautifully in images so that one day when you are no longer around there will be a visual heirloom of you for your loved ones. My wish is to give you an experience you will remember and share plus photos to keep for a lifetime.
This shoot made me feel so confident about myself! Ivy picked all the perfect locations and I felt like she had me pose and shoot in ways that capture my personality! She also pushed my comfort zone a little which may have been scary in the moment but I love the way they turned out!
