I was born and raised in northern California. My husband and I eloped (ironically, considering my passion for weddings now) at twenty years old in Sacramento. Eighteen months later we welcomed our first child, an amazing little boy. We've gone on to have three more children - for a total of three boys and a little girl. I'm seriously sentimental. I've kept the going home outfits of my children and meticulously documented their lives.
Watching them grow is bitter sweet. My heart swells with pride with each new chapter in their lives, while simultaneously longing to keep them little just a little longer. These feelings are why I am so passionate about what I do. My heart is in my work because I know I'm not just taking a snapshot, I'm documenting a family's history.
