Modern portraits and vibrant lifestyle images for personal brands and adventurous families. When I think about what gets me up in the morning (besides the obvious, coffee and my kids) it's other people. I wake up excited to connect with my family, with other parents at school, with the baristas who provide me that much needed coffee and with the people who hire me to tell their stories.
Connection is so important in this sometimes crazy world and getting to document those connections is something I'm incredibly honored to do. Based in Southern Oregon (Ashland to be exact) and happy to travel. I'm a mama, photographer, occasion-lover, coffee drinker, NPR listener and sometimes backpacker and snowboarder. Oh, and sometimes I make my kids pose and smile at the camera because let's face it, everyone wants one of those for their holiday card.
Which I never manage to send out. Definitely this year though. I mean, probably. Kali is wonderful! She has a natural way of making you feel at ease and comfortable.

I don't know about you but every day that goes by feels like it went faster than the last one.
Well, most of the time.
Sure, some days feel like they last forever but usually life is busy and full of work and errands and cooking and cleaning and sometimes I worry that I won't remember any of it.
And I don't want to remember it in some perfect moment where my kids wore matching dresses and I actually had my hair and make-up done (OK, that would never happen anyway) - I want to remember us as we are now.
