I'm a California girl currently enjoying the southern pace of life in the Wilmington, NC area with my husband and two adorable boys.
Prior to launching my photography business, I studied visual arts for four years and obtained my second bachelors degree from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
I also spent over 10 years working as an Art Director in the advertising world.
I loved every minute of it, and am pleased that I have been able to apply my skill-sets and art knowledge from one creative career to another.

Through my own journey of starting a family, I have come to treasure the gift that children are, and documenting your family is an honor for me.
What can you expect from a family session with me?
Lots of playing, laughing, chasing, tickling, and fun! Sessions typically take place at an outdoor location and include up to 5 family members.
Pets are welcome, too!
There is no strict time limit on your family session, however I find that 1 hour works best for kids and is plenty of time for me to capture all the beautiful moments.

Maternity sessions are not only a way to beautifully document the sweet anticipation of pregnancy, but also a great way to capture tender moments with your partner.
These sessions typically take place between 32-38 weeks of pregnancy.
To ensure my availability, it's best to contact me during your first or second trimester.
Expect your maternity session to last about 45 minutes and take place on location or at your home.
You may change your outfit a couple of times-I can bring maternity gowns for you to slip on if you don't have a long dress.

There is no sweeter time than those first few days at home with your newborn, and these sessions are intended to document that time in a natural and authentic way.
Newborn sessions typically take place within 1-3 weeks of your baby's arrival and last about 90 minutes.
I will use the natual elements of your home, without the use of props, and minimal posing to capture the sweetness of your baby and family.
Siblings are encouraged to join in as well!

You wouldn't know it if you were just passing through, but Hampstead is a hidden gem and one of my favorite places in North Carolina for family portraits!
I've reached out to a handful of really awesome local businesses that have allowed me to shoot at their locations.
One of these lovely businesses is Ash's Japanese Maple Nursery, which I love to offer around mid-fall when the Japanese Maple Trees turn a variety of gold, yellow, red and orange colors.
This rare sight only happens for a couple weeks out of the year before they lose their leaves for the winter!
