Here's the thing - I'm not the cookie cuter, "stand right there, smile pretty for the camera" type photographer. I'm that, waiting for that perfect moment, fade into the background, capture the big moments and little ones you didn't even remember happing type of photographer. I prefer real smiles, candid moments, dirty dresses, spilled champagne, lipstick on your cheek, play in the rain type photographs.
With a background in the film industry I have a documentarian approach to my photography. I don't just want to capture pretty faces but the feeling within each frame. I want to feel the movement of the dress, the touch of skin against skin, and hear every laugh just by looking at one image. Services
You can typically find me at a coffee shop working on my computer; editing photos, working on my novel, or downtown Raleigh sipping beer at one of Trophy's many locations.
I was born and raised in Raleigh and haven't found a city I love more.
When I'm not working I'm typically following THE 1975 down the east coast, attending music festivals, or hitting up a local show.
Concerts are my love language.
I'm a mom to two doggos; Thanos & Slade.
And yes they are both super villains (the little one even broke my leg in 3 places!)
