As High School Sweethearts we believe in finding love in random places (like our high school gym), sharing memories with those you love, and cherishing small moments. We love each other and our kids. Each day we try to fill our love tanks with quality time, kind words and every once in awhile a homemade pancake breakfast. The story began back in our high school.
I noticed Erik in the gym while he was bench pressing! He asked me to prom with a message written with cups in a fence and we've been in love ever since. 7 years later while Marissa was away for the evening I set out rose petals and candles in our Chicago apartment to ask her to marry me. She said, "are you serious?" and then "YES!" We'll never forget the feeling of walking down the aisle, dancing in the sand, and the electricity of our first kiss on our wedding thanks to the photographs that captured it all.
It was one of the reasons we were inspired to become wedding photographers! After getting hitched we moved from Chicago to Cali, spent a year exploring and then headed to Seattle to make our permanent home and start our family.
