I was born on the Islands and feel so grateful to live in this place of abundant beauty.
When I first discovered photography, I realized I could communicate an idea or feeling without the constraints of the spoken or written word.

In case you were wondering what time it was here in Hawaii, I've added this display which shows our local time.
Hawaii doesn't participate in daylight savings, so during the Fall Equinox and the Spring Equinox, our time remains the same while the mainland changes their times either +1hr or -1hr.
If you ask anyone in Hawaii, this can be a good and bad thing.
Good because the amount of sunlight isn't affecting too dramatically.
The bad part of this is that our friends/family on the mainland can now be ahead by 6hrs!
