Here at Robert S Cooper Photography, we let our passion for photographic excellence shine through in every image we provide to you. I specialize in commercial and editorial photography with 20 years experience as a photojournalist in Georgia and Florida. I love working with people and have a special passion for classic portraiture. I favor an approach that hearkens back to the work of the great pictorialists and the masters in old Vanity Fair magazines.
The camera is a tool and with it, I try to capture the interplay between the subject and myself. I try to keep it simple, and so far, it is working. In 2012, I moved back to my hometown, Savannah, GA and am enjoying building my freelance photography business here. I love this land, this part of the country. I spend a lot of time outdoors and do about 100 family portrait session on Hilton Head and Tybee Island each summer.
